Coordination Meeting Between The Ministry of Environment, TERRE Liban And UNDP To Address The Importance Of Conserving Lebanon’s High Mountains

In light of the urgent need to conserve Lebanon’s high mountain lands, an efficient coordination meeting was convened in February 2023.

This meeting was initiated by the minister, Dr. Nasser Yassin, in the presence of delegates from the UNDP, the General Directorate of Urban Planning, the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Yazigi Atelier, and TERRE Liban, represented by the director, Mr. Paul Abi Rached, ESA's field coordinator, as well as environmental, international, and national legal experts.

It aimed at emphasizing the significance of effective and professional coordination between all relevant stakeholders in order to preserve Lebanon’s high mountains.
